Bitlek is an alias for Tjerk Stoop and is used to display and promote his work on and trough the www.
Tjerk Stoop (1977) is a musician and installation artist. He uses sound, image and data as materials for electro-acoustic compositions, experimental short films and interactive installations.
He finished his studies in Environmental Technology in 2000 and finished his degree in Sonology at The Hague Royal Conservatory in 2006. Combining the two, he probes into new relations between gathering environmental data and presenting these by means of real time visualizations and sonifications.
